Consulting
I have worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Zurich, Switzerland and around Europe. I worked on several studies with a diverse set of clients, from finance to IT and from non-profit to telecommunications. I have also worked as a freelance consultant for a digital media startup that’s poised to take over the world :)
I’ve learned a lot through consulting, but eventually I figured I’d rather be an academic, I find it is more fun and much more rewarding. As this question does pop up now and then, I’m currently way too busy with research and teaching at SMU to take up any external consulting work, though I may reconsider should something arise that is very much aligned with my work at SMU.
