About me

Like most people I know, I do a lot of different things and find it hard to summarize myself. If you care to know more about my life’s toils, here is my CV. You can also find me here and there on the internets, if you care to get in touch.

When I’m not busy playing “professor”, I like to play basketball and video games, dabble in music in my home studio, travel to places near and far, and on occasion I also do some part-time consulting work, when a project looks interesting.

I’m also the public lead for Creative Commons Singapore. If you’re a Singapore-based author or user of any type of media content and have an interest in open licensing check out the Creative Commons Singapore blog that is managed by Ivan Chew.

Hoikoinoi comes from the Greek “οι κοινοί”, which simply translates to “the commons”. I thought that sounded neat and unique.

  1. Ah, that partly explains your involvement in CC-Singapore. :)

  2. Haha, I guess it does!
